A MESSAGE FOR THE TRAFFIC POLICE

 Dear police uncle/aunty

Thank you so much for working for us tirelessly every day and being

there for us and keeping us safe. I know some people do not appreciate

how much you do for us. They just think that “ye mera challan katt

denge”. I’m not one of those people. You work every day in every

weather, be it blazing and humid hot, or shivering cold, just to keep us

safe.

So please take these cookies and feel the gratitude in it.

  When I saw Baba in the freezer, my brain stopped processing. I was in such a shock that my brain decided to disbelieve what it saw. I went upstairs to change (I had just come back from school) and felt a small vacuum inside me. Another vacuum that couldn’t be filled. The next day while tying the golden ladder to Baba’s feet, I felt so numb that I couldn’t feel anything.
