Why does our voice matter?

That’s an interesting question. Many people will say that the reason your voice matters is because you can use it to communicate to other people and help, share and connect with them. That’s a very valid answer because it is important to connect and communicate with other beings but that’s a very obvious reason. In this essay I’m going to give you a way deeper answer to this many layered question.   Leo was walking to the local supermarket very discreetly to buy himself a packet of potato chips. He was listening to everything around him and hoping that no one notices him. What if they laugh at him? He thought. He reached the market just in time to see the man picking up the last packet of his favorite potato chips. He seems to need one more pack and he asks the shopkeeper. He says that he has a full stock at the back. He runs of and gets it for the man. Leo was observing all this and taking valuable information i.e.   1)     There are more of your...

Hundred Dresses Book Review

(Spoiler alert!!) 'The Hundred Dresses' is a book in which a girl named Wanda Petronski shifts to a new village with her father and her brother. she starts attending a new school there. She lives in the more remote part of the village which people are scared of and avoid going to.   One day as she enters the school, Wanda spots a crowd of girls marveling at a girl's new red dress. Eager to make friend and join the fun, Wanda says to Peggy, the most popular girl in their group “I’ve got a hundred dresses in my home, all lined up in my closet”.  As expected, no one believes her - they mock her and ask her as to why then she just wears the same simple blue dress to school every day ? However, her claim spreads like wildfire in the small school and has tongues wagging and everyone talking. Peggy’s friend Maddie does not like this. She feel’s guilty and wants to befriend Wanda, but Wanda is absent for a few days so she does not get the chance.   When  Wanda i...

Harry Potter Vs. Percy Jackson

HP VS PJO   This is a topic which I always wanted to write on; which is better, the Harry Potter series or the Percy Jackson series? I have read both of them and will give you a synopsis of the first book in both of the series (the lightning thief in Percy Jackson and the Philosophers stone for Harry Potter)   Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief Percy Jackson is just like any ordinary kid that is until he got to know the big secret. He is a demigod, a son of the Greek god Poseidon (yes, the god of the sea and earthquakes). He travels to camp half-blood which is (apparently) the only safe place in the worlds for demigods where all the monsters can’t get to him. When he reaches camp he learns that Zeus and Poseidon are fighting. Someone stole Zeus’s master lightning bolt! And Zeus thinks it was Percy! (which is totally unfair) Percy leaves for a quest with his friends Grover and Annabeth to find and return the lightning bolt and to save his mother. But the T...
